Women's Month Event - Eswatini and South Africa
South Africa commemorates Women’s Day on the 9th of August every year to celebrate and reflect on the heroic march by South African women in 1956, which aimed to end the pass laws enforced by the apartheid government. The month of August is now widely recognized as Women’s Month in the Southern African region. It is a time to reflect on the progress made by women in actively contributing to socio-economic development and creating a better world.
The events featured women participants from all sectors of society, along with strategic male leaders who are well-positioned to champion the inclusion of women in leadership roles and investment opportunities that can accelerate the region’s economic growth.
