The African Storyteller podcast was launched in November 2024 as a platform dedicated to profiling Africa’s eminent leaders and companies that are actively contributing to rewriting the continent’s narrative and positioning it for growth. We believe that highlighting Africa’s journey toward growth and prosperity is crucial for reshaping its narrative and promoting the continent as a prime investment destination.
Since our inception, we have had the privilege of hosting leaders from various sectors, including real estate, artificial intelligence, youth entrepreneurship, philanthropy, women’s entrepreneurship, art, advertising, and financial services. Some of our featured guests include Peter van Binsbergen, Group CEO of BMW South Africa; Lew Geffen, Real Estate Mogul and founder of Lew Geffen Sotheby’s Realty; Thebe Ikalafeng, founder of Brand Africa; Yvonne Chaka Chaka, UN Goodwill Ambassador, businesswoman, and singer; and Peter Vunda, business leader and founding father of Herdbouys Advertising, among other esteemed leaders.
Storytelling remains one of the most powerful forms of information sharing and knowledge gathering, and there is a significant gap for positive stories that constructively aim to build the economy. Through our podcast, we hope to:
- Strategically provide stories that highlight the work done by private sector entities to grow Africa's economy.
- Offer insights from expert leaders on how some of Africa's most formidable challenges can be addressed.
- Profile African leaders who are actively contributing to building a better, more competitive Africa for all.
Our podcast format includes:
- A pre-recorded and edited 30-minute session in a designated location
- Positive, solutions-driven conversations focused on the future
- Endorsements from industry leaders committed to Africa's growth
- Distribution through various channels and an exclusive mailing list
